Merging Boundaries
Having happy horses is the greatest gift for most horse guardians. We may have different concepts of what a contented, fulfilled horse is, and that is perfect as there are any different horses. Horses are as individual as we are, and they have chosen to come here assisting us in our awakening. For this reason they are surprisingly tolerant of our human world and the demands we make.
On the other hand it gives me great pleasure to see them enjoying their lives. To appreciate their character and their opinions blossoming because they have as independent a life as possible. Happiness is surely the fulfilment of our soul purpose however, so we can relax and know that if a horse is in our lives, they are in the right place.
This week the herd and I have been continuing to explore our relationship. Every interaction we have is about this. Purposefully tuning into the interactions between us, releasing their parameters to change, this is the path that has opened for us. The latest subject which has arisen is the survival paradigm. Is it the blueprint for our relationship with horses? Survival is not only about whether you have enough food to eat. It is a perspective.. a belief system that shapes existence itself.
